Choosing the right programme

Not sure which course suits your child? Here are some guidelines to help you decide.

Starting out (ages 8-11)

Begin with Money Foundations. This establishes core concepts in a fun, age-appropriate way. If your child already has some money awareness, they'll still benefit from structured learning that fills gaps and builds consistency.

Building independence (ages 11-14)

The Smart Spender Course works well for this age group, particularly as children start receiving pocket money or small amounts to manage. If they're already confident with basics, this course challenges them with more complex scenarios.

Preparing for adulthood (ages 14-17)

Financial Independence is designed for teenagers who will soon be managing their own bank accounts, earning money, or heading to university. The content is sophisticated and practical.

Family learning

If you want to learn together and establish better money communication at home, the Family Money Workshop gives everyone shared language and strategies.

School holidays

The Holiday Money Camp combines education with entertainment, perfect for keeping children engaged during breaks while building valuable skills.

Individual attention

One-to-One Coaching suits children who prefer individual learning, need to catch up quickly, or want to focus on specific aspects of financial literacy.

All programmes include

  • Qualified educators with teaching and financial expertise
  • Age-appropriate materials and activities
  • Small group sizes for individual attention
  • Practical, hands-on learning approach
  • Progress communication with parents
  • Certificate of completion

Frequently asked questions

Do children need any prior knowledge?

No. Each course is designed to work as a standalone programme, starting with fundamentals appropriate to the age group. Children with some existing knowledge will still benefit from structured learning and may progress faster through initial concepts.

What if my child misses a session?

We provide summary materials for any missed sessions. For multi-week courses, one absence typically doesn't affect overall understanding as we build in review periods. If more sessions are missed, we can discuss catch-up options.

Can siblings attend together?

Absolutely, provided they're within the age range for that programme. The Family Money Workshop is specifically designed for multi-generational participation. For other courses, siblings of different ages should attend age-appropriate programmes.

Where are sessions held?

We run sessions at our Birmingham centre and occasionally at community venues. Specific locations are confirmed when you book. All venues are accessible and have appropriate facilities for young people.

What's your cancellation policy?

Full refund if cancelled more than two weeks before the course starts. Partial refund (50%) for cancellations made 7-14 days before. No refund for cancellations within 7 days, though you can transfer to another course date if spaces permit.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, for courses over £150. Split payments can be arranged at booking. Contact us to discuss options.
